Happy Black History For Life,
Dwayne McDuffie
In my humble opinion Dwayne McDuffie was a Black Break Through
Writer at Marvel and DC Comics. (Although not the first Black writer at either
company)
Mr. Mc moved from comics into the cartoon field by writing some of the best scripts for the cartoon Justice League Unlimited.

Soon his own creation Static Shock joined Fat Albert as one of the only creator based cartoons to be in television by an Black person.
Still later, Mr. Mc wrote some of the most acclaimed scripts for BEN 10! Where he finally began to receive the industry acclaim and respect he deserved.
I knew and interview Mr. Mc several times. I loved and respected him. I had fully intended to work with him some how or way in the future.
Unfortunately he died February 11th last year. Rather suddenly.
He is a major contributor to Black History and our future that I will not let the world forget.
